Beef

Our Cattle are 100% grass fed Black Angus beef, Born, raised and finished right here in Ohio. Our cattle are raised on open pastures, free from growth hormones, antibiotics, GMOs, or animal by- products. We believe the only way to know for sure that the beef you are buying is truly raised on pasture and cared for well is to know the farm you are buying from. We take great pride in caring for our animals as a family, for your family, and are confident you will be able to taste the difference.

Lamb

Our sheep are born, raised, and finished on our farm, where they spend their entire lives on pasture. They are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, just as sheep were created to be. From start to finish, we raise our lamb with intention, care, and respect for the land, and we would be honored to be your source of lamb.

Pork

Our pork is raised out in the forest, where our pigs roam freely beneath the trees. This forest-raised approach allows them to root, forage, and live in harmony with the land, resulting in healthier animals and richly flavored pork you can taste in every cut. By working with the natural instincts of our pigs, we’re able to provide meat that’s not only more sustainable but also more nourishing and delicious for your family’s table.

Who We Are

Herd Heritage is a family-owned and operated ranch located in Mt. Eaton, Ohio. Our work is rooted in the belief that food should be raised with care, integrity, and respect for the land. From the beginning, our animals are raised on pasture in small, low-stress herds and flocks, allowed to live as nature intended.

We practice regenerative farming and rotational grazing not because it’s trendy, but because it’s the right thing to do for the animals, for the land, and for the families we serve.

Knowing where your food came from and who farmed it can change your life. We are mother’s looking for the best ingredients to feed and nourish our children. We are fathers teaching the generations after us to respect the land and practices of those who came before us.
