THE MACKLINS

Cameron, Olivia, Ziyah, & Esme

My (Olivia’s) passion for holistic farming didn’t come until the birth of my first daughter. In fact, anyone who knew me prior to being a mom is probably stunned I've found my way here. After having my daughter, as many moms do, I began researching how I could ensure proper nutrition and the best quality food for my baby and my family. The more I read about our food systems and conventional farming, the more I longed to know the farm my food came from and how it was farmed.

As a small, family owned and operated farm, my main role is customer communications, marketing and order fulfillment. I am also a full time photographer, so you will often find me in the fields, documenting all things farm life and family with my little ones trailing behind.

THE WENGERS

Jeremy, Michelle, Logan, Jessa, Kenzie, Josie, Kaden

I (Jeremy) am the daily boots on the ground at the farm. I’ve always found myself passionate about raising and caring for animals and now, as a father, I’m fortunate enough to share the same love for farming with my kids. Every day, they join me out in the pastures, helping me care for our animals and tend to the land. We work side by side, whether it’s laying out hay in the winter for our sheep and cattle, doing regular fence checks or land maintence, or just watching the animals in their natural habitat. It’s in these quiet moments of observation that I teach them the importance of being mindful stewards of the earth—how to care for the land and respect the animals that help feed and sustain us.

I’ve learned that farming is more than just a job; it’s a way of life. It's about nurturing the land, preserving traditions, and passing down the wisdom of generations. As we walk the fields together, I see the lessons taking root in my children, and I’m reminded every day that this is what I was meant to do. From pretending to be a sheep farmer as a child to now making that dream a reality, it's an incredible journey that I’m so proud to share with my family.
