our farm

We take great pride in our love and stewardship of the land, treating our animals with respect and raising exceptional meat. Our farming practices are rooted in a holistic and homeopathic approach, meaning we avoid antibiotics, growth hormones, and grains. We embrace regenerative farming, which focuses on revitalizing the soil, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting the health of the entire ecosystem. Through rotational grazing, we restore soil health, boost carbon sequestration, and nurture local wildlife. Our goal is to create a self-sustaining system where both the land and ecosystems become stronger, more resilient, and productive over time, benefiting the environment and the communities that depend on it.

Our cattle is always 100% grass fed and finished Black Angus. Our calves come from a neighboring farm who shares our values and farming practices. They are bread and born on their farm, and after a weening process, when they are able to leave their mothers and sustain on pasture alone, we bring them over to our land where they spend the rest of their lives. We never feed grain or GMOs, as these have no place in the diet of cattle. During winter months, we feed hay that our family grows, cuts, and bales on their farm. All of our beef is dry aged for tenderness and optimal flavor. We use a high quality, USDA approved butcher who cuts, vacuum packs and freezes our beef on site before returning it to us for distribution.

Our sheep, much like our cattle are 100% grass fed and finished. They are also ruminants, designed to only eat grass. We raise a Katahdin / Dorper cross breed. These are hair sheep, meaning they do not produce wool. We follow a lot of the same practices with our sheep as we do our cattle, however, our sheep are bred, born, and raised on our farm.

We believe the only way to know for sure how your meat is raised is to know your farmer directly. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please reach out! We would love to chat with you.
