Beef
Our Cattle are 100% grass fed and grass finished Angus beef, raised on open pastures, free from growth hormones, antibiotics, grains, or animal by- products. We believe the only way to know for sure that the beef you are buying is 100% raised on pasture and cared for well is to know the farm you are buying from. We take great pride in how we care for our animals, ensuring your beef was raised the right way and we believe you will be able to tell the difference.
Lamb
Our sheep are 100% born, raised, and finished on our farm. Like our beef, our sheep are 100% grass fed and finished. A majority of lamb you find elsewhere is finished on grain because it is fast and cheap, but not here. Just like cattle, sheep are ruminant, designed to eat nothing more than grass. We would be honored to be your family’s source of lamb and are confident you will be able to taste the difference!
Tallow
Unlike conventional tallow, which often comes from cattle that was fed grain later in life, our tallow comes only from the cattle on our farm, ensuring a grass only diet. Grass fed and grass finished tallow retains more of the beneficial nutrients found in grass and is very rich in omega- 3 fatty acids, CLA, and antioxidants, making it a healthier, more sustainable choice for cooking and skincare.

Herd Heritage is a family owned and operated business who produces real food grown the way nature intended. We raise animals ethically, on pasture, in small low stress herds and flock. Through regenerative farming and sustainable agricultral practices we strive to heal and nourish human health and our land.
Knowing where your food came from and who farmed it can change your life. We are mother’s looking for the best ingredients to feed and nourish our children. We are fathers teaching the generations after us to respect the land and practices of those who came before us.
